Diary Entry "The Strange Case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde"

In Language Through Literature Writing we read the book “The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”. Then we studied how to write a Diary Entry. After making some activities, we made the Final Task, in which we had to imagine we were Henry Jekyll the first time he invented the potion and then the moment in which he drinks the potion for the first time, writing two Diary Entries with different dates and between 170-230 words. Here are my Diary Entries:

August 28 1839, 
                       Today it has been a strange and interesting day for me. I had woken up at 1:00 AM and I couldn`t sleep. I had been rolling in my bed for three ,imutes. At 1:30 I got up tired and I went to my laboratory. In my laboratory I was making some experiments but I was tired of that, I wanted to make something new, a medicine to separate my bad part of my body of the good one. So I picked up a bottle and I started mixing ingredients, first I put water and other strange liquids that I have created before. I added some pepper and salt. I mixed it a little bit and I left in the freezer. When I picked it up, the colour had changed, it was violet. I was very intrigued in drinking it. I drank a little bit of the bottle but the hard effect of the potion made me throw it to the floor. I started feeling strange, my feelings changed and my body too. I couldn`t control my body. The last thing I remembered  is that I got up from the chair, I broke up the door of my laboratory and I went out to the street.

August 29, 1839,
                         I had just woken up, it is 7:00 AM. I am in my bed, I don`t remember how and when I came here. The last thing I remembered is that I created and drank a potion and I went out to the street. When I woke up I saw that the window of my room was broken like if I entered at there. Immediatly, I changed my clothing and I went to my laboratory to see if there was all in good conditions. When I arrived, there was no door and the walls were dirty with blood. I entered to the laboratory and all my bottles and liquids were broken on the floor. I got desperate, like if something was missing to me. So I went to the gloot and started drinking the liquids thet were on the floor, I was getting addicted to the potion. I was strange again but this time the transformation was powerful, my vains started to get bigger, my face swelled up and I was fat. I couldn`t control my body so I felt down I feel asleep.
